A Bit of Swing, Blues & BroadwayFresh new Adelaide arts company Citrus Entertainment, invites you to an evening of classic entertainment presented in true Big Band style and covering swing, blues and Broadway hits. Featuring the smooth voiced, Chris Eaton, this night of swinging music will leave you humming and toe tapping, long after the last notes have been played. Renowned for successful performances at cabaret venues such as ‘The Weimar Room’, and starring in theatre productions, such as ‘South Pacific’, ‘42nd Street’ and ‘HMS Pinafore’, Eaton will delight audience members with his confident, charming manner and sublime vocals, presenting both lively upbeat and stirring soft numbers in his diverse repertoire. With accompaniment provided by Daniel Brunner and his five-piece band, who are making quite a name for themselves in the Adelaide music scene, Eaton will cover songs reminiscent of performers such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Cab Calloway, Dean Martin and Frankie Valli. He will also perform numbers from Broadway composers in the likes of Bernstein, Sondheim and Lerner & Loewe.
